Social Media

Image
I've never been a fan of social media before because it always seems a bit odd to me the idea of sharing literally everything I feel and happens to me in a whole day with people who I can talk directly so I really dislikes Facebook the most, following by Twitter and then Instagram. It could sound weird but I have two Facebook. The first one was made for a request -an obligation- for one of my younger cousins. I haven't known anything’s of that account anymore after the first week of experiment I did of the web around ten years ago. My second account was made for a matter of "necessity" in High School, in a time where everything related to homework in groups were shared through Facebook so if I wanted to contribute to the final scored I needed an account. I don´t use this one except if I am looking for information about the university.  Instagram is not interesting at all and Twitter seems to be more of a battlefield than a nice social media where a person can ha...

Concert

Image
I've never been in a concert before, mostly because the idea to being surrounded for a lot of screaming people is not specially comfortable despites all the good opinions told to me by now about how of an amazing experience is it, for example, my mom assisted to “Los Prisioneros” concert in 1986, during a special time of Chilean History. She said it was incredible and a very meanful experience. This idea reinforced because the dictatorship background. That was her time, in my time nothing is so strongly meanful to makes me want to go and see a live presentation.  Other thing that had stopped me for going to concerts is the high prizes in tickets, or at least, it cost more than what I am disposed to pay for (maybe I am just being overly bitter) but there are just a few bands and singers that I really like and none of them are nearly to come to Chile soon. Just in the case, If Igorrr comes to Chile, I’ll probably go to their concert. I would try. Igorrr in hi...

A country I would like to visit

Image
If I have to choose a country for a visit it would be Japan. Is small, full of weird people and everything about the construction of the houses, flats, streets looks so reduced and attached to each other that it end to feel a bit suffocating, of course this is a matter of space -or lack of space- and makes me curious how well these cities would work in a normal day. Also I would like to learn about japanese culture, more specifically about their days off. What they like to do in their free time (even when there is a good number of documentals talking about the topic). And also move from the cities looking for temples. The ones I am most interest are Kinkakuji (Kioto) and Senso-ji (Tokio) Recently I have started to follow an artist on Tumblr, his username is "mattjabbar" and he posts his illustrations of urbanic views in Japan. I really like his work, it can transmit a lot of the essence of Tokio. Below is one illustration made for "mattjabbar"
